1990 Accord-engine almost dies at speeds under 20mph

217,000 miles. Engine runs very rough under 20. Shaking, sputtering, etc.

It runs fine at cruising speeds (anything ober 20mph). Yes, I know it's general and could be a lot of things.....O2...

I just had the same problem. The mechanic did need to replace the spark plug wires, as they could not be cleaned effectively. As for how he cleaned the reamaining oil.....

Yes, It is an automatic. The Brake/shift sensor (the release for the shifter when the brake is applied) is sporatic . It fails when cold.

Posted a message a while back about a steering wheel shimmy @65mph, there was also a clicking at low speeds during hard turns. The concensus was to replace the drive axles, they were indeed shot.

It is all one unit. I had may mirror brackets break (corrode) and needed to buy a whole new assembly. Snap off the cover on the inside, undo the screws.
