2004 Acura TL hard start problem

04 TL, 75000 miles.

symptom: car has issues with a hard start. it will crank and crank and crank and rarely catch. when you release the key it stumbles to life. no CEL's and car is running normal...

BUT some, SOME insurance companies do see LOW LEVEL HPDE events as "driver education" and cover the car. ...

in all the years that ive been doing this ive only seen a VERY small handful of incidents in HPDE 3 or lower. nobody WANTS to crash their pride and joy and most people drive accordingly.

1) whoever told you that you need an alignment after new wheels is retarded. you can switch back and forth all you want once your alignment is set.

2) bedding brake pads only refers to NEW brake...

this is also very true. there may be a slightly audible change but a physical kick or lurch is a myth or a result of poor tuning.

you have the SOHC engine right?

youll never feel/hear it on a SOHC. its half-vtec as its only on the intake side of the camshaft.

1) the 97-98 240sx came with the "jdm" front end from the factory. my car is a 240sx. it always has been, always will be. not a silvia.

2) i am sponsored for my aero parts. so i dont pay for them...
