thanks for the reply....

actually i had the heat blowing full blast, somehow i believe that the a/c comes on regardless of the temperature setting. It just comes on whenever any of the front...

I know in my other hondas when you select the “defrost-front-glass” setting regardless of temperature setting the a/c light comes on. (which you can de-select by pressing the a/c button again)

i have the same issue with my 97 coupe....the tail lights are fine, sun roof drain are cleaned and re-installed.....still get a little bit of water in the trunk when i drive in the rain...i couldn't...

I am swapping out a locked up motor for a friend ( from 2000 y8 to a 2000 y8).

The Dist. plug is different from the two motors, when its should be the same motor! (both 00 y8's)

same thing happend to my y8...... if u look at your factory drain bolt you will notice that it is pretty short...(using about 1/2 the threads of the pan) i just went to advance auto parts and picked...

i just did an auto to manual swap on my 97 ex....and i did notice that the auto has an extra ecu plug......only thing i took from that plug was a few...

did you try to clean out your iacv?

its more likly to to be a iacv problem, EK civics do not have a fitv....is the idle normal when the car is warm?...if its not, then you can adjust the idle back to spec

if you have a y8 the iacv...

you have a 96 civic ex.....so

it would be a good idea to change to a 99+ SI or 96-00 DX/CX 3dr port valve......(they are the same).....i have the same car as you, and i still didn't put in my port...
