Default Exospeed Racing

I figured I would take the time and see who all is currently waiting for their order(s) from Exospeed Racing (http://www.exospeed.com/store/). I ordered a complete set of VPD & VPD-R’s w/slicks back in April 2010 (which I paid in full) from a local shop. When order was placed (paid via VISA) their account was debited immediately for complete price. After multiple calls, emails, PM’s from both me (the customer) and the local shop we both had finally received a response that the wheels were in US customs and he was waiting to receive them. 5 weeks later the front set shipped. So 3 months after the order was placed I received my front set of wheels/slicks (Thank you).

To this day I have not received a single word on the rear wheels/slicks set (since day order was originally placed). I’m not the type to “bash” a company but I’m a customer who has paid for their product and has not received the complete order. I was hoping to have everything before the 2010 BOTI event (October) but obviously that did not happen. I did a quick search with the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org/us/) and Exospeed is listed.

Bottom line the Exospeed wheels are really nice and I’m happy but the “customer service” is not there. I recently noticed that he is now banned on Honda-Tech so private messaging is no longer an option.

Any customers who are currently waiting for their orders please post up (Order date, product ordered, etc). To any previous customers who had issues receiving their order please post your experience.

Best Regards,

Thanks for the info. I contacted Exospeed recently about a set of star 5's for my Integra. He was very prompt to email me back. Answered my questions, and asked when I needed the wheels by. I told him asap, he stated he could have them done in two weeks. This conversations occurred in Sept of this year. I was really just curious more or less after reading all the issues about Exospeed. Everyone that has sent him money stated they couldn't get a hold of him. But I sent him a email and got a response within the hour.

I decided against buying direct. For the reason he seemed to pushy to receive money. He actually just recently send me another email with a different email address asking if I was still interested.

If I was to do it over again I would only recommend purchasing wheels only if they were to be in stock. Once again if the customer service was there I would be okay, but when you see multiple customer's complaining that they have not received an update on their order and jumped through the same hoops as I have that's throwing red flags. I know/understand issues with customs because I deal with them on a weekly basis at my job (importing goods) but for multiple weeks/months that is not right.

I am, I have been waiting for a pair of Star8 13" wheels with tyres and another pair of Star 8 skinnies with tyres worth over $2k since the beginning of August, so that makes it 3 full months.
I sent several, but several emails to Wil/James and whoever works at Exospeed and received absolutely nothing back from them. I got one message on the 7th Sept saying they sent two boxes, but when I asked for tracking I received nothing, and besides that no box has arrived.
I think it's extremely veil to accept orders which you cant honour, and its even worse when I read that they are answering mail from new customers and asking for money, while those who have given them money are left with nothing.

If there are anymore questions on orders that were placed with Exospeed. Please direct them to randyr@exospeed.com so that I can try and answer them as best as I can. Thanks!

I also have been waiting for my wheels since July Will promised me 3 weeks for the wheels. I ordered a front end for my Eg and he had it ready in 2 weeks as promised.

He told me 3 week turn around time on the wheels so i said cool and he was payed in full in cash for them here i am now 3+ months later and no wheels. 3 weeks passed i didnt mind month goes by i asked he said he was waiting on parts to put them together He stopped answering phone calls and returning calls. Than i heared the customs story, than it was back ordered parts run around.

My buddy picked up a front end from Will 2 weeks ago and asked Will about my wheels he said he has them at the shop and got my number again from my buddy and said he was going to call me. Well here i am no wheels no call no nothing .

And i also hear the same thing taking in new orders but how about the people who already payed for theirs? Like my self?

So is this going to be a game of email tag?

Sending an email does not take much effort. ALL the customers that have sent me an email about their pending order have been taken care of in a timely manner. An email will document our conversation and will protect both the customer and seller. Please send me an email and I'll be sure to make this RIGHT.

And sending a phone number to actually talk to some one after months of waiting and trying to get some answers shouldn't take much effort at all either.

Im not into playing a game of email tag as i mentioned you say documenting a consversation and protecting your selfs from who? a paying customer who payed for product that was suppose to be delivered months ago and gets nothing but excuses and story's about were the wheels are at? and when they are going to be delivered? But yet when it was time to pay cash money for the order's it was all smiles and promises.

I don't seem like the only one that has been waiting patiently for wheels or orders that have been payed for . Seem's like were are the bad guys here for asking and making a thread asking for product and orders that have been (Keyword>) Payed for.

Seems your trying to sugar coat the situation with the promises of fixing everthing with a email when a simple phone call will do.

I want to see what this email brings me hopefully my wheels =/

I'm just going to put my $.02 cents in here.. No I didn't talk to Randy via telephone but he responded to my email(s) same day which is completely different when it came to talking to Wil. Have you emailed him/asked him for his phone number?

This is why I am involved with sales now, so we don't end up with customer service that is questionable.

Unfortunately our invoices here do not have Honda-Tech screen names under the "sold to" line. As far as I'm aware, we have never sold any wheels to a customer named Double*R or SonicRacing1. I'm not just going to give wheels away to anyone that posts on this thread. You are welcome to call 661-775-1963 for any questions but I will not blast my personal cell phone number out in public to get bombarded with phone calls.

All I ask is for you to send me an email at randyr@exospeed.com with the details of your order (name, size of the wheel and application, address, etc.) so that I can work on it and get you a resolution on your order.

To chime in my personal experience, I recently made an order for my Evo-H2B kit and "wil" took my money and said the kit should arrive around 2-3 weeks. Communication was great for the first 2 weeks, then I never got a response from any emails or voicemails. I waited another 2 months and even filed a BBB complaint. Randy (AllMotorRandy) PM'd me and things got started up again, finally. Randy kept a constant communication with me through email and ensured I was going to get my package. After a short while, my package came! I was relieved that Randy stepped up and rectified my situation, so Exospeed is cool now. I know things happens sometimes and no business is perfect, but if a business properly solves their cases, they are good in my book. So to the few that have issues with their orders, I suggest emailing Randy and hopefully he can resolve your situations. Hope that helps somebody.

This issue would have already been resolved if the original buyer would contact us directly by email (randyr@exospeed.com) or by simply calling our warehouse @ 661-775-1963 (provided in an earlier post). 3rd party inquiries by friends of the original buyer does not warrant me releasing the wheels to the first person that asks for them. There have been attempts by me through posts on this thread and by PM's to Double*R with the tools to contact us and we have not heard anything as of yet. It is quite confusing that there are posts by 3rd party personal about the urgency of these wheels yet there are no attempts by the original buyer to contact us. As I said before, our invoices have customer names on them not Honda-Tech screen names. There is product ready for pick up, we just need to know who you are and what wheels were ordered. If Double*R is the original buyer, He simply needs to contact us directly and provide his name, size and bolt pattern of what was ordered, proof of purchase and his wheels will be released to him.

with all due respect randy there never should have been an issue in the first place if will would have kept to his word instead of selling hopes and dreams!.....
