FS: Built z6
So I won't ever be using this engine again because it automatically puts me in a class that I will Never be competitive in (SM2/SSM).. and I could use the money towards some other things..
Up for sale I have a complete long block + Transmission. Transmission has aprx. 180k miles with a new exedy clutch kit. The block is fully documented as well (see pic below). The block has 12,235 miles on it..But it's built for boost. And yes it was boosted with a DSM T-25 for a short period of time (about 250 miles) also it was boosted with a catch-can from day one. Never once did the wide band show above 13-AFR.
I also have the title for the car that the engine originally came out of which I could copy for you if need be.
Some details on The block..
-JE 75.5mm pistons 9.0-1 cr
-JE pro seal rings - with forced induction ring end gap
-Eagle H-beam rods (clearanced sleeves and crank girdle)
-Clevite bearings
-Balanced rotating assembly (from crank pulley-pressure plate)
-Rebuilt oil pump
-Bored & honed .020
-Polished crankshaft
-Decked block
-Block Guard (installed before cylinders were bored over)
-Never ONCE had an issue with cooling!
-ARP Head studs
-All new gaskets
-Commetic 76mm 0.051" Head gasket
The block was also soda blasted and when you see in the pix looked MINT!..Would look close to that again if you use some Red Devil degreaser on it.
HEAD
-Basically your run of the mill stock head
-Was plained before installed
-Also has new exhaust/intake valve guide seals.
-Has D16Y8 valve cover.
-DSM 450cc Blue top injectors/seals(never leaked)
-And already wired cleanly into the harness is the honda resistor box.
-Also already wired in is a GM 3-Bar MAP sensor
**Also has brand new from Silko Honda..Water pump, Timing belt, timing belt tensioner, and all valve cover gaskets.
Here's the pix from right after I got it home:
And the machine shop work order:
So as you see in the work order, this engine cost me just under $3,000 to build. I'm looking to get $1,500 obo which includes an Si d-series transmission and hell the axles too. You can PM or straight email me..Although email might be your best option.
