The flywheel is a jun ultra lite 9lb (i believe correct me if im wrong) flywheel. The clutch is an ACT xtr6. I really have no idea how many miles are on either. The x6 disk is new, and the xt pressure plate is flat and looks fine. The flywheel has been balanced with the motor just like it should be....so im not going to sell them without the motor. They all belong together.

thanks though,
liam

Here is my final set up with this block & stuff :
B18C1 AEBS Sleeved 85 mm
B16A ported & polished head
Skunk2 stge II cams
APEXI VAFC
RC370 CC injectors
70 mm T/B
ITR intake with Hondata heat shield gasket
DTR 2.0 liter header
jun flywheel 8.5 lbs
IB-spec 7 cc 85mm pistons

We fired up the engine today , will fix the DTR header to my exhaust system this week , finish off all the details , and I'll brake it in for 500 KM . Will take it to the dyno the first week of March. Looking for 220 WHP ????

I bought this newly sleeved block , and installed it and invested A LOT OF MONEY on new head, cams etc....... Fired it up and guess what , the workshop that sleeved this block and assembled this block , didn't install a pistonpin circlip very well ,so it came loose and droped in the oilpan , then the pistonpin rubbed into the sleev and after 5 minutes my block was messed up. Couldn't even drive it for 5 feet !!! Because when I head this sound we stoped the engine and looked for the nois!
Now I called the Machine shop " ACCURATE AUTOMOTIVE MACHINE" (thats what they call themselves !!) in Lakeside CA (619)443-3935.
I spoke to Milan the owner two months ago , hetold me he never had this in 20 years !
He told me he would put this in his insurance . I took the engine appart , took the sleeve out and installed a new sleeve , 4 new pistons (because he couldn't get the same piston any more and a new rod and new mail and rodbearings .
Thes costed me well over $3,000.00 !! Labour + Parts + shipping to Europe and taxes .
Now I've been calling hime over 100 times , left messages on his answeringmachine ,
faxed hime , but NO REPLY.
Each time I call hime , he sees my tel number and switches on the answeringmachine.

NOW I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THE SELLER OF THIS BLOCK TO CALL MILAN AND ASK HIM ABOUTH THE SITUATION. AND ASK HIM IF HE HASN'T ANY PRIDE IN HIS WORK !

Sorry it took so long to get incontact with him. My work schedule is very busy.

I talked to Milan on the phone a few minutes ago. He said that the so called bad pistons looked almost brand new. Hes taking some pictures for me and getting them to me. Once i get them ill post them here online.

I would also like to know i am *not* the seller of the engine. I was just the relay boy and got Douglas in contact with Milan. No money passed through my hands and i had no part of this deal.

However im more then happy to try to help out where i can.

I would also like to note that there is no "warranty" on high performance engines like that. However Milan said he would stand behind his work of course and if there is damage from assembly he would cover that. The problem being is the motor is on the other side of the earth, and Douglas only shipped over the so called piston that has the missing wrist pin clip. Its really hard to any shop to cover they work when the motor has been disassembled by a 3rd party and the shop was not able to see the damage first hand.

Ill keep in contact.

thanks,
liam

Liam , thans for taking the time and helping me out. Of course the piston looks brand new , because the engine only ran for 2 or 3 minutes ! then its started making a wiered noise. That was the piston pint that was hitting the Cyl.wall. Now tell Milan if he takes a look at the piston pin holes left and right and puches the pin to the one side that he will see the damage in these holes , also you can see at the top of the rod that the piston pin moved up and down and damaged the rodbearing.
OK no warranty on a high performance engine , but I istalled it , turned the ignition switch over and after 2 or 3 minutes it all happened.
I THINK HE SHOULD STAND BEHIND HIS WORK AND CRAFTMANSHIP , I prefered that the engine was assembled the way it should have been , and I didn't have to take the engine appart , and fix the problem and invested an other +3000 , beieve me !

Now if he doubts my honesty , what can I say ?

I think he should stan up for the assembly mistake and help me out .

Thanks again for helping me !! I appreciate it.

Please let him know what I replied , because he's NEVER picking up his phone when he see's my number

Regards

Douglas
