Cmon guys he let the cat out of the bag when he said he would give half back. No person would just take a loss that easily no matter how "well" off they are or how much money they have to spend. I can relate to what is going on cause I went through a similiar situation trying to send a nitrous kit to canada. In the end I offered to re3fund the money and sell the kit to someone else. the buyer denied and we finally got i to him. This goes back to the if it seems to good to be true it probably is!! Good luck Iggy let meknow what if anything I can do to help. Plane ticket to Mr. Qwans house or hell lets take the Greyhound and maybe we will stumble across your seats LOL

Thats funny cause you sold them to Qwan not to his friend. If they are his friends seats then why would Qwan go through all the trouble to drive 45 min to ship and not make his friend do it. Yall are digging a bigger hole LOL Looks like his friends are in it with him

Well, it seems like it was a shipping error then. Hearsay anyways. Hopefully you guys get this cleared up. It sucks to ship expensive items cause it seems like bad things happen too often. Same goes for buying. I believe since quan shipped them out he should've got ahold of greyhound ASAP when he found out the seats were not delivered on time. It's too risky to just wait on things that expensive. Thats what makes it seem so shady to me.

It dosent really matter whos fault it is.
the buyer has yet to recieve his stuff. To the seller:
If you wish to keep a good reputation on honda-tech you will get off work early and go down and sort this **** out. It dosent matter if you are scamming him or not. I dont care how many transactions and things you have sold smoothly before. this one isnt working, your buyer didnt get his stuff so get OFF YOUR LAZY *** AND GO FIND HIS SEATS.

Phillip from what I can remember Quan bought like 3 sets of seats from Benuilt4u, I think he used one, his friend used one, and this was just the spare one. Hope that clears that up.

Benbuilt4u was only the oriinal seller, I talked to him before I even sent $$ to Quan, and he was more than helpful before the sale, as he's been after

well i will add one more thing:
quanKwan, to save face, to prove ur legit, to keep urself reputable as a seller on H-T.com i would highly recommend you give iggy all the money back minus the agreement of the shipping charges and that $40 extra for boxes,etc....... that u would keep to cover ur expenses for shipping costs. this will prove to everyone here that you are serious about helping iggy in any way you can.
not this pay back half.
now when iggy receives his seats, he will then resend you the full amount as agreed in the initial purchase.
like i said, iggy is a man of his word and i stand by him.
now prove yourself and step up.
thank you.

ok this is f-ing retarded because i have said over and over that i am not a freaking scammer, so grow up and drop it. OK Funny guys, pay him in full, im already in good faith to give him half his lost. I dont like to deal with BS like this and dragging on and on. If i was an ******* i would have said screw you, not my fault u didnt ur damn seats, sorry its my money, ur just out of luck, but no, I did offer a reasonable and amicable resolution which the buyer has not yet complained, so F-U all guys for being straight up dumbasses and being gay on this internet Forum, probably most of u guys have no freaking lives but yeah, thats reality.
As for Iggy, you have my word bro, I have shipped them out, as agreed upon, there is no scam in that, I know how you feel when **** like this happened, I got scamed once and I know how it feels to be in a situation like this.

By offering half the lost is a very reasonable idea, like i said i would take half the lost if they are truly lost, not FULL DUMBASSES.

as a i seller..... i wont refund **** to the buyer. if i know for a fact it did get sent out. if it did indeed get lost/stolen then it must be directed towards greyhound itself. as the seller.....u aren't liable to be a insurance company or anything. if claims filing is involve then it must be worked out between both parties.

Well.. I am not saying anyone scammed.
But to me, it's a common sense to ensure the buyer gets the stuff from me. Even if I have to take some time to do it.
The thing I can't understand is, why won't Kwan take his time to make some effort to get the information from Greayhound?
I read that he's well off, but if I was a seller, I'd try to do deal with the shipping company before offering $500 back so easily. $500 is a lot of money, well to me at least, and I ain't about to let it go down the drain.

Beats me, I could care less about seeing any $$ right now, I just want the seats. This could all be figured out with a simple phone call, or a trip to the station. A refund of any kind shouldn't even be the issue right now, because I've been waiting for him to contact the station for a more than a week

Here is one of the many times I asked for simple phone call, this was more than a week ago.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by quikB18B &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">(10:43 PM 3/1/2004) quikB18B: Do you have the reciept, can you call the station where you shipped them from? I really cant do much because I didint send them and i dont have a tracking #, so if you could call them and figure it out i woudl appreciatte it.
(11:11 PM 3/1/2004) QuanKwan: I wont be able to get down there until Thursday and see whatsup.
No I dont have the receipt. The tracking # should have been in the e-mail that was sent to you.

(7:53 AM 3/2/2004) quikB18B: Can you call? If not gimme the address and ill call the station. I just want to know whats going on. The email said 10-15 business days and the station customer service dept says it only takes 3-5 days to arrive from DC area? Really makes me wonder

And for the 3rd time I dont't have the email anymore.

Can you please call them today, you don't have to go down there just call them.

i have to agree with u. that ya Kwan should take the time to check with greyhound to see what's going on. him being well off has nothing to do with the seats getting lost/stolen in transit. both parties need to work this out accordingly.

Brian you push some of the most expensive **** here on honda-tech, you have sold thousand of dollars worth of stuff and I'mm 99% sure that you keep a tracking # for every package that leaves your warehouse. You may not agree that the seller is responsible, but I know you can agree with me that he shouldn't have lost/misplaced/threw away the original reciept.

Again I don't even want the issue of the refund to be disccussed anymore until Quan makes an effort to get them from the shipping company.

The shipping company said and I quote "Sorry sir we can't help you, but have the shipper contact us and we can trace the transaction to get the tracking #"

That's all I want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It just seems shady to me that Quan is offering a partial refund before he's even made a simple effort to locate them.

to this whole shitty situation.

ya what does what i push on ht have to do with him? yea i agreed he should have kept the receipt a little longer. and yes i have a online account which dates back 45 days on my fedex. i never really used greyhound so i'm not 100% sure the procedures. but i do know 1 thing. the guy didn't just take your money and ship u nothing. if he's willing to research what happened then give him some time. if it seems shady to u that he's willing to offer u partial refund why dont u just not except it. till either he or u further researches what happened. didn't he e-mailed u the info as well? and u had lost it as well?

The seller is responsible though!!!!! Take my example we buy an oem body kit from acura that needs to be shipped...Honda is responsible for seeing it get s to your door they are responsible for insuring the package and if for some reason it didnt show you as the buyer would expect a FULL refund correct ?? Its not hard to grasp this concept people. I am Iggys roomate and Im tired of seeing him get run over and be so patient. this is f ing ridiculous!! Qwan kwan or whatever the hell your name is you suck!!!!!!! If the roles were reversed you would be saying the exact same thing as everyone else SCAMMER....your certainly not doing anything to clear the fact your not a scammer besides saying OH I SHIPPED IT ITS HIS PROBLEM NOW Bullshit....Just remember Kharma is a mother ****** and what goes around comes around!!

No one thinks to the fact that iggy is trying to get ready for a large meet in april and the seats are a key part to this. Shady Shady stuff going on...it just doesnt click. like iggy said why in the world would someone rather refund money than make a simple phone call....

Kwan have you even picked the damn phone up....can you not spare 45 seconds in your busy life to dial a greyhound station? You say your not a bad person and you wanna do iggy right.....well **** bro ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS AND YOUR ACTIONS ARE TELLING HIM TO SCREW OFF RIGHT NOW

Brian I used you as an example because you ship high $$$ items everyday and I can assume just like you confirmed that you keep track of all your items. Point made.
I have said many times now in the thread, that I am 99% sure that Quan did send my seats, I have confirmed and made my self beleive that the seats are simply lost.

As far as time goes, i have been very patient. I waited more than two weeks for them to ship as he was busy and they had bad weather. I asked him more than a week ago to call the station, and nothing. 6 weeks ago he had time recieve pmt, but now he suddenly has no time to make a phone call .

As far as the email, that is a mute point. I don't remmeber it having them tracking #, and he can't confirm that it had it either because he doesn't have the email either. He didnt send it, Greyhound did, but they said they don't send emails to the buyers. I confirmed this with 5 different greyhound employees, as did a few poeple here on honda-tech that have used greyhound before. The email means nothing, because Quan can't prove it had a tracking #, it was just a weak attempt to make me look partially responsible in my opinion. Besides if it had a tracking #, the first thing I would have done was checked to make sure it wsa a legit #.

yea i agree with u. the seller shares some responsibleability. but utimately it is greyhound that lost it. ya he shipped it. and i'm pretty sure he did insure it too. but both parties have since lost the shipping information. so wha'ts next?

Qwan as the shipper is ultimatley responsible.....he needs to refund the money and take the issue up with greyhound. Example again if you were to buy a turbo from Garrett that shipped but never arrived to you Garret would refund money and take it up with its shippinjg provider. The merchandise is responsible for getting to the hands of the buyer period end of conversation weather or not there were 15 tracking numbers lost it doesnt matter!!
