Yokohama Advan A032R-S pressures
Anyone on here using the Yokohama Advan A032R-S for auto-x? I'm just curious where I should start as far as tire pressures go.
this is on an 88 CRX Si w/ 400/450 GCs and SSPS3 Konis. 13x8 wheel w/ 215/50-13 tires.
Rest of the specs in my Bio

I ran the 215/50 on a 13x8 as well, running them on an '89 Integra. I found that 33f/31r worked quite nicely. I would start with 35 all around, and go from there. Or you can try 33/31 and see how you like it.
Edit - The above pressures are cold. When hot, I was running 35f/32r.

When mentioning pressures, please specify whether they are measured hot or cold. Thank you.
I know the optimal pressures on the A032R-H for road racing tend to be on the low side (28-30 psi cold, mid to upper thirties hot) but I don't know whether or not that necessarily translates to anything meaningful for the soft compound in autocross.

First run was this weekend. course was a little wet but I ended up at 33f/30r which seemed to work great!!
Thanks again!

How did they do in the wet? I never got a chance to run in the wet with those tires, but from others who ran them, they are quite fast in the wet.

They did great! I ran full tread depth, pre-heat cycled by tire rack and was very impresed w/ the performance. Once I got the pressures right the tires were more confident than I was.
