Re: WTB 4.9 FD for a D-series tranny (Knappster)
Which D? I have a Houseman 4.9 for the D16A1 (DOHC 86-89 Integra). It's the oddball "CG" tranny, not compatible with the L3 tranny though.

Re: (Furyof4)
Were working on the '92-'93 Integra YS1 right now. (Heavier Pinion Shaft) But I'm not sure that there would be enough demand for the '90-'91 S1-J1 Gears.
If you can get a group buy going, or get an indication of who would be interested, we might look at having a production run of 4.7's produced. It is all a matter of quantity. Obviously we don't want to go to the expense of having 20 or 30 sets of '90-'91 Gear sets made ... Then only be able to sell a couple of sets.
Not sound business practice.
However, if you would like to send me a "stock" Sample, Ring & Pinion We'll check it out.

I believe the Honda 4.4 FD is also the same PN between a S4C and YS1.
I compared the two countershafts and they look identical to me. Why can't a regular B16 hydro FD work with a YS1? What's the pinion have to do with it?

That's correct! For the YS1- Hydraulic Clutch type G/Box !

Pinion Gear/ Countershaft Same thing.
The difference between the YS1 Cable Gear box and the other B Series G/Boxes is... when Honda Changed to the first YS1 Hydro Boxes, they changed the Inside diameter of the Ring Gear Diameter. Where the ring gear fits onto the Diff. The Cable G/Box Ring Gear is a Smaller Diameter. The YS1 Hydro Gearbox Ring Gear is the same as the other later model B series.
I hope this helps
