If you want an honest answer you will have to explain yourself. Right now it seems like you want a "showcar" cage (aka Monkey Barz). If this is the case, you may want to go to the Appearance forum.
In this forum you will find answers about specific cage design for a certain set of rules (SCCA, NASA, etc.).
What organization will you be racing with? What are the rules for cage design?

The problem is that it will cost alot to ship them. Is there anyone local who can build one for you?

Weight of KIRK bolt-in cage.
To answer your question regarding weight, my full bolt-in race cage from KIRK weights about 130-140 lbs. This includes all the NASCar-type door braces, the X brace, the dash brace and the rear horizontal brace. Yes, I feel the weight in the car compared to when I only autocrossed the car... but I feel better on HPDE and race day with the protection I have.

You want a real cage-not some show/toy thingy. KIRK Racing builds a very strong easy to weld in kit. How much do they weigh depends on how complex you want it to be and the car it is going in. The 8-point cage with NASCAR style door bars for our car weighs 135 pounds installed. I say that because the shipping manifest says so. It could be about 30 pounds lighter if you delete the door bars and reduce the tubing size to SCCA/NASA minimum required for the car.
Whatever you do-build strong so that you race safe. Also use the SFI high density padding on all surfaces that your head and left side can touch. Good luck

Re: (facucasse)
As a few people have suggested, you may want to look into a local shop. Seeing the types of cars you all are racing, there should be somebody. Having said that, if the local places are really expensive, you could try comparing their quotes to the cost of a Kirk/Autopower cage + shipping. The biggest problem in asking all of us is that we're all up in North America, so we don't know what's available to you.
