What % complete are you in GT4?
i am 30% complete as of last night.
I can't find a car fast enough to win the last race series in the "professional" part so I can't move on to "extreme".

Yeah, but in B-spec you aren't driving, just "directing". Plus you can set it to run at 3x speed, so the race would take 8 hours. Just let it run overnight while you sleep, and reap the benefits when you wake up

I thought the last race in the pro series allows only production cars? I haven't gotten there yet, I'm only 16.9% done, but a friend of mine keeps getting blown away by the Cien.
Favorite cars so far - RX-8 LM car, 488 hp Corvette Grand Sport, 450+ hp Evo VII, Ginette G4.

Think of B-Spec as auto-pilot, and you can set different levels of aggressiveness for the "driver". Then you sit back and let the race run itself.

Re: What % complete are you in GT4? (Brian*STi)
I'm around 35% now. I'm in the middle of the Formula 1 series, which is surprisingly easy I must say.
The problem with B Spec mode is that it doesn't stay in 3X speed after a pit stop. So you can't just go to sleep and have it be done when you wake up. For the 8 hours you sleep, only 8 hours of game time will pass.

I don't believe my brother has had the problem with pit stops and bspec mode. I'll ask him about it when he gets back in town.

There's a big argument about that in the 300+ page GT4 thread over in GDD. No one seems to know (at least the last time I checked) why some people lose 3x after pit stops and others don't.

On day 694 of game play 4 cars appear in the used showrooms; two in showroom 1 and two in showroom 2. They are all black LMP and GruppeC race cars; the Mazda 787B, Nissan 89C, Toyota GT-One and Nissan R390GT1. They newer cars (GT-One and R390) are 3.4 million each and the older cars (787B and 89C) are 1.2 million. They're novel because they have no livery and are all black.
They only stay in the showroom for 7 game play days, then they're gone for another 694 days. I missed the boat.
You see what the hell I'm talking about now?

Wow! Good stuff! Thanks. I don't think I'm too close to day 694 yet, but I haven't been paying attention. I hope I haven't missed it.

14.9%.
I got sidetracked after winning the Ginetta and looking for excuses to drive it. The game makes me want to go out and buy one.
