Trailer / Car Hauler Rental? 24 Hours of LeMons!
Hopefully someone can help me out here. My father, brother, friend, co-worker and I have entered a 92 Integra into The 24 Hours of LeMons Race. The car will need to be towed up there and unfortunately we don't know anyone with a trailer at the moment
I know that we can rent a trailer from Uhaul, but does anybody know of a place that rents box type trailers, something enclosed? We were thinking of renting something like that so we could have somewhere to setup camp in case the weather gets bad. Or possibly just renting a normal uhaul trailer to tow, then rent an RV while we're at the track... although I'm pretty sure an RV rental is out of the budget.
Btw, here are some photos of the car so far, we still have a lot of work to do, and the race is less than 2 months away!
The day we brought her home!
Weight Reduction
Beer Can Wing.... can you say DOWNFORCE!
Crappy Photoshop of our proposed logos and paint scheme
(Yes, we are sponsored by Steel Reserve, a Malt Liquor)
Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Re: (WrongWD)
haha, well, unfortunately all they did was send us some shirts... but hey, the whole goal is to go racing for as cheap as possible, its all about freebies!
In reality its not as cheap as it could be though. Car costs are pretty low (for the car itself) but wheels, tires, brakes and safety parts don't count towards that $500. So when you start counting all that extra stuff plus travel and entry fees (~$1000) it stops being dirt cheap and just turns into barely practical.
The best part is really the whole spirit of the race. I highly encourage anybody nearby to come check out one of these LeMons races. It's part road racing, part demolition derby, part complete practical joke. I've honestly never seen anything like it, you can read all the info on the website, but once you witness it first hand you realize how amazing it actually is...
So if anyone wants to come out, throw some lemons at race cars and root for a Honda team.... come on by, you're welcome in our pits

Re: (Colin)
Colin,
While I can't help you with the trailer, we'd be happy to help out in other ways if you need. Our Lemons team is mostly local to michigan.
Anyway stay in touch and we'll see you there. Look for 'Bernie's Revenge' (an old supra painted to match Toyota's F1 team...complete with F1 nose and wing)

Colin,
If you have an open seat in the race I would be more than happy to tow that thing up there. I dont know if you still have my number or not, PM me if you dont.

SpeedPak: Are you guys running the cali race? We're going to be running the **** Freeze-appalooza!
Markos: I don't seem to remember meeting you, care to refresh my memory? We were pretty set on having just the 4 of us driving, but I'll check w/ the rest of the crew. What's your towing setup like?
