Is there a reason so many teams use the RSX, instead of the TSX? It seems like there are far more of them despite the problems. Also interesting that they're using AST. First I've seen anyone use them in a Honda application.

Perhaps because,
TSX = expensive, as in for used one, twice as much as a used RSX
RSX = dime a dozen????

I don't think John and Kevin are going to make the season opener. They are going to run: Mid-Ohio, VIR and Watkins Glen.

Re: Team Hondaworks returns to World Challenge in 2010
Thanks, Jeremy and all.
We're excited about this new adventure. Yeah, we plan on doing 5 races (three weekends) in all.
The AST folks have been working around the clock with their European division as to one-off stuff to make the car handle. They're certain they can make the car fast and easy to drive based on their history with Honda products over there. Time will tell. Lots of new doors have opened with this WC mess and we'll see where it takes us.
BTW- We're planning a HUGE party at VIR! Home track and all. Everyone is welcome. BBQ, beer and BS. September- be there!

Re: Team Hondaworks returns to World Challenge in 2010
LOL, thanks.
I don't know if that will happen in 2010. The ITR is great club car but, up against 'real' World Challenge scooters is a whole different story. I'm not saying no it won't happen but, at this point the IT Fest and ARRC are on the ITR's schedule not WC.
The ITR will however be at all three WC events. It'll be on display, act as a parts bin and an emergency back-up car. Pray we don't need it.
Again, thanks all.

Re: Team Hondaworks returns to World Challenge in 2010
Thanks Kaan.
Kevin (Mr. Hondaworks) builds some of the best race cars I've ever seen. They are simple in form and very, very effective.
Anyone notice Helms turned a 2:09 at VIR last weekend? Stupid fast with about 200 hp and stock honda brakes. Things should be interesting with 270and slightly better stoppers.
Powerbrake from South Africa. Maybe the best BBK on the market.

Congrats to Hondaworks once again. Thrilled to see your team run this chassis. Wasnt there another team sometime ago running this chassis?
Also, what happened to Exedy being your primary supporter?
Tell us about Powerbrake.

Exedy still is the title sponsor on the Integra. Disc Brake Australia is the title sponsor on the WC car. Both companies are involved with the other programs, Just in a smaller way. Kinda like owning a NASCAR team- two cars but different programs.
I missed a few questions and I'll get to them after work later today. Questions about AST, the chassis and PB.
Thanks all.
