See everyone in California
After a year of planning and burning up the phone lines between myself and Mike (civicrr), I'm glad it's finally here. This will be a true 'West Coast Honda Challenge' event. All our guys are ready, and today is my Friday
I'll have a blue & white Honda flag flying from my trailer, so be sure to stop by and say hi.

Woo hoo! Me too. I just have a few last minute things to get finished up on the car, but she's nearly ready to go. Looks like it could be a little warm in Sonoma. They're predicting around 90*, which would normally sound nice to me, but with humidity I'm sure might not be as fun. Can't wait to see you guys there. I'll be rollin the black 4Runner slowly towing the reddish/orange CRX.

Re: See everyone in California (johng)
The year is gone, the months are gone and the weeks are gone. For me it's just one more day and then hours.
What's there to be excited about:
1) getting out of town with some friends
2) racing at new track
3) racing at Infineon (Sears Point)
4) racing in Honda Challenge
5) racing in H4 with some 20 cars in the same class (not group)!
6) meeting some 20+ fellow Honda racers. Seeing again some HC & USTCC racers.
7) Oh ya, not at work
Not bad for a long weekend and my last race in the states for awhile.
See you there.

I think the heat is more dry than humid, but I'm from the area so maybe I'm just used to it.
I'm only in HPDE, but I'm so looking forward to seeing all you HC guys go at it!

Wow ... I hope you can get everything together in time. Suddenly I don't feel bad for scrambling this week. All I have left is a nagging slow oil leak coming from either the cooler lines or the pan ... or both. I haven't really figured it out yet. Once I get that done, it's just retorque everything in the suspension, give it a spit shine, and shrow it up on the trailer. We should be rolling outta here around 8am tomorrow. Woot!
