Racing seat belts vs regular street belts question?
I heard that using a race harness (like a Takata) in the streets is not a good idea but shouldnt they be safer since they are designed to handle worse accidents than regular street accidents? I dont want to be the ricer driving around with takatas bc it looks cool.

but from someone who does it to and from the track, it SUCKS! you cant look over your shoulder or lean fwd to look. the only reason i do it is because i dont have stock belts with the cage.

I have mounted Schroth 4points along with my factory belts in my 5th gen Prelude. Best of both worlds. Schroths have the "ASM" strap on one side which should not allow you to submarine in an impact.
Driving round town with the 4points is a pain and trying to keep yourself in a leather seat with the factory belt driving round the track is a pain! Wes
