Huh, interesting. I didn't search extensively, went only off the blog/imagehost site. Edited above post to reflect that. $2200 shipped minimum price for FIA certification, FYI, which actually isn't TOO far off some other CF FIA seats. Also interesting to note that the FIA sticker is apparently $400, since the seat should be the same in either case. Fun how sanctioning body politics work like that 
I see also that they modeled this after the NSX-R seat. Anyone know how much they go for?

Thats not a race seat. You can get real race seats in carbon from Sparco, Recaro, Sabelt, OMP, MOMO, etc, and they will weigh similar to that and with better support.

People it is a replica NSX-R seat for the nsx community that want a R seat without spending 25k on seats and sliders. So downforce (BTW make very nice products in carbon fiber for nsxs, porches, and Ferrari's ) Made this seat for The nsx people with our with out a fia tag. I was going to buy a set for my nsx-r replica but decided i wanted a race car again and sold the car.
You guys are right there are most race seats from all top names that way close +/- a few but that wasnt the point. If you have ever been in a nsx or raced one for that matter the seats dont need to be overly aggressive because the lay back and the close interior surroundings
