Pilotis = Pimptastic
Got my Piloti DTMs this week. I'm impressed.
Very well constructed and extremely comfy. I could wear these things every day.
Highly recommended.

Re: Pilotis = Pimptastic (Catch 22)
make sure you try them on before you buy them (some mall shoe stores actually carry them)
They are pretty skinny and long, typical of euro shoes. I couldnt find a size that fit me.

Re: Pilotis = Pimptastic (Evan55)
This is true. If you have a short, wide foot these probably aren't going to work for you. But I wear a regular old size 9 and the Piloti size 9 fits me just fine.
Mine...
Of course, they match the Sparco. You gotta match the Sparco.

Are you sure you don't have a little bit of "WC" in you?

With shoes like that, you'd almost think he's going internationizzle.
How's the pedal feel with those? Most of the shoes I've found which felt "comfortable" enough to walk anywhere in had enough padding to kill pedal sensitivity.

i have a pair of monaco's and i friggin love em. i'll wear them as a normal shoe sometimes, and i would def HPDE with these things, i think the pedal feel is only marginally less than with a typical racing shoe.

Holy chit, I thought my size 15s were giant! Good luck. I use Adiddas wrestling shoes, most everyone else tops out around size 47-48 (13ish).

No Fear went to at LEAST 15's. I want to say they went up to size 16. Not sure if they're still being made now, but you might be able to track down a pair.
Despite the name, these were very nice (and expensive) shoes.

The best recommendation is to go with your normal tennis shoe size. They are like anything else, the same shoe will fit different people differently. They aren't Euro. They are actually made in China.

Re: Pilotis = Pimptastic (hbennett76)
They might be made in China, but do they use a European foot model to build around? Or are they built to a standard D size?

I am mourning the slow death of mine
best racing shoes i have ever worn, far and away. I got them on closeout at Racerwholesale for $50 4 or 5 years ago, so I doubt they are still available. Had I known at the time they were so good I would have bought 4 pairs
now i gotta dish out $150 for a pair thats not even as good
