There was also some Pirelli World Challenge action on CBS today. In the wet at COTA. Not familiar enough with series to know why Kia Optima is passing an Aston Martin.

Have you ever heard someone say, "I really miss Paul Di Resta in F1"?

In theory, with the fuel-flow sensor, it should not be possible to have fuel flowing into the engine at a rate greater than that measured by the fuel flow sensor.

But as the fuel flow sensor is in the fuel tank, there is some distance between it and the fuel injectors, as indicated in the diagram below.

There, you could potentially accumulate fuel during periods of low demand from the engine.

This could subsequently be pumped into the engine at a greater pressure and/or fuel-flow rate than stipulated by the regulations.

This greater fuel flow would increase engine power, which is currently restricted by fuel-flow regulations.

By measuring the fuel at these different points in the system, it should be possible to prevent any abuse of the regulations.

Wonder if you could sneak some more fuel in with a fogger nozzle somewhere in the maze of charge piping.

Ya, I been slacking. We've been on the fence for a while cuz weather is always iffy in April. I'm not getting the cheap seats, so it better be 70 deg and sunny

In other news, Grand Prix du Canada tix have arrived. Ferrari/Williams better step their game up so I can see some type of show in Montreal lol.

Back from Spring Break in Florida. Spent most of it not riding my new bike (wrong caliper mount) and taking care of my mom who got the flu from my nieces. 10/10 would go again.

Glad there's some sane people in here WRT JPM > DC. I lol'd at the RoC being the tie breaker. Heikki and Rom8in sure have gone on to incredible things after their RoC wins...

Not to mention it's hardly a race of champions when no champions are competing. DC? Champion of what? Same with his teammate - Susie Wolff. Perhaps they should rename it to race of the backmarker has beens and never wasses. Vettel didn't compete and Schumacher slept through it.
