New MFactory Clutch Kit.
It’s one of the most important parts on a street or racecar. As many already know Edo Motorsports works closely with MFactory Competition Products as they are our title sponsor. We use virtually every component they make that will fit our racecar and I can’t tell you how proud I am to use their parts as we have not had a single failure with MFactory products. This new product I want to introduce is the new MFactory Clutch kit. I have been using it in competition for the best part of one year. It has held up like a champion by providing us with consistent and reliable operation. The pressure plate is a high end unit and the 6 puck disc has smooth engagement and a light, almost factory pedal pressure. This is crucial to reduce driver fatigue. These well-developed features are indicative of a very high quality product one would expect from MFactory.
We recently removed the gearbox and inspected the clutch; it’s as if we just installed it as it was exhibiting very little if any noticeable wear.. The flywheel surface was clean the pressure plate had no burn marks. Most importantly, the disc itself was in exceptional condition.
We have used several other clutches in the past and most did not even survive one season of racing. The last clutch we had which will remain unnamed was a 4 puck and after a year, the material on the disc, most notably the pucks had started to de-bond.
After our thorough inspection of the MFactory clutch kit, we were very happy with the way everything looked and reassembled the car.
The clutch itself is good for 2-3 race seasons without any issues. With a progressive engagement point, the clutch is a great for Street, Drag Race, Road Race, a true performance oriented unit at a great value.. Very soon I will be running one of these clutches in my Street Car to reap the above mentioned benefits. Simply put this is a great product that has been thoroughly tested on our championship winning racecar from MFactory Competition Products.

Re: New MFactory Clutch Kit.
on the fence over this one...
really - how is the engagement? smooth enough to be daily driven in stop-and-go or is it the typical on/off switch that many "puck" clutches are?

Re: New MFactory Clutch Kit.
It has smooth engagement. It does not chatter like other puck clutches.
I will be also putting one of this into my street Integra Very soon.
