Here is another vid, from this past weekend, Sept 22nd, 2006.
Its just some footage from friday practice.
I am fighting a bit of a push in this session.

That thing sounds like the sound track from the movie "LeMans"!

I think one of these might help when driving that car:

Yeah, the weather sucked for us, we came with rains, but they were JUNK, big time, they would not disperse any water at all, and they just were odl and hard, zero grip.
We were always in there in the dry sessions, but we just sucked in the rain.
I raced in 2003 there in the rain, but we had great tires then, this time, same car, same conditions, my best wet lap was 15 sec per lap slower this time around, it sucked and there was just nothing I could do.

Great vids BTW.

I finally got to meet Paul this time. It was a fun weekend despite the weather. Even though I didn't get to drive my race car, it was fun watching it perform in the hands of a master and almost take him to a podium finish.

ummm...calling bs on that.....unless it has a supercharger

i want to see the dyno....

that does not pull like a 275 hp car should!!

with 275 he'd be going around that audi tt like he was standing still and pulling out of the corner on all the other cars like none other!!!!

I don't had to prove you anything, the tuning was done on a dynapack with a 5.08 FD setting

His Numbers are prolly comming off a DYNAPACK- reads without tires on car which is more of a slightly lower flywheel HP number.. .

I wont call bullshit but I wanna know how he did it? I want to build a 4dr integra or new civic K24setup.. .

I've scene some crazy exhaust manifolds built that give our K series motors some ridiculous power. 50hp off stock motor and tuning.. . The heads on these K motors beckon for better flowing components around it..

He prolly has some custom high compression pistons, HUGE cams, ported everything and a crazy exhaust manifold from DTR or better and most of all RACE TUNED ON 110 OCTANE or more.. .

There are some K20a Type R motors running a bit higher compression and big cams running 250whp and up. There's a guy on K20A.org running 265whp out of his 2.0ltr.. .. might be a dynapack run as well

Here is a K24 with K20a2 type S head and STOCK cams making 255WHP and 207trq DYNOED ON DYNAPACK.. . Might just be Flywheel HP cuz the wheels are not on the car.. .

dynapac don't mean crappo.....church's dyno freaking reads 15-20% higher than any other dyno ever posted on HT.

i've seen stock b16's put down 175 on church's dynapac and those are rated at 160 at the flywheel!!

That's pretty much a TSX engine with an ok header, 2.5" exhaust, and tuning. No way would that make 255 on any other dyno.

Nice Vid!

Man, the gearing on that thing is unreal...T56?

Also, id just like to comment, you're waaaay to nice out there hehe. Not sure if this was a mass group practice/qualify session but i would have been pushing my way through that pack, though it did look like quite a bit of under experienced drivers judging from the hatchback that hit the curbing on drivers left and almost spun himself out lol.

to you for being curtious out there.

Its a Jerico actually, much better than a T56, race dog ring box, no clutch.

It was first official practice of the weekend, I was being cautious and just watching.
I was in no rush, if that was a race and I was starting from pitlane or something, would have looked alot different.
Plus, when I race in mixed groups I generally try and let guys who are racing, race, I will wait untill I can get by both clean without disturbing the race, and if its good enough I will waive off the blue flags and watch! This is of course if I am not being chased or going after someone.

Here is one more small vid.
Its from Sunday Qualifying, I think there are 4 laps here, thats all we got before a sports racer oiled almost the entire track.
I had a broken rocker stud in this session, you can here the miss, and I am down a bunch of power, we found it after this session. I knew something was up, I was coming in just as the track got oiled.
I am out there with a Ferrari 360 Challenge and a Viper Comp Coupe.
The track was still drying out, so I start out pretty cautious, it was slippy in spots.
Yes, they have better brakes, much better.
