Sweet... What a bad-*** day!!! Half-day at work and 9 hours up at RedShift doing car stuff (including my picking up my pimpy new wheels and tires).

I can't wait to get my Integra up there for some tuning... but alas that's a little further away since it has no shocks...

Here are the pimpy new wheels in action yesterday!

Congratulations on the win again Matt, the sti is a beast!

There is no doubt about it's ability and sheer power, and you drove well

Great to see you again.

Thanks Anton... I forgot how much fun I'd have up at those events. Hopefully it won't take me another year to get up there again!

My time was fast enough for FTD...

That fact combined with the pics below is enough to justify keeping this thread alive!

Grid...

On course!

Trophy time!!!

Thanks to RedShift for the Dyno time and kick-*** wheels & tires!
Thanks to Rob over on NASIOC for the great pics of my new ride!!!
Thanks to NASA Northeast for a great season opener!
Thanks to Matt for reminding me to give thanks to EVERYONE that truely deserves it!
Thanks to everyone that I'm too oblivious to give the proper thanks to!

sorry to intrude but off the dyno graph the car loses power past like 5500 - wouldnt it be pointless to rev past 5.5k then ?

No, because a shift at 7000 rpm will drop you right back in the meat of the powerband. That dyno doesn't fall off too much anyway.

The left hand graph looks to be torque. Power only looks to drop about 15 hp on the right hand graph.

Nice pics and result Matt! Is that a 4 wheel dyno or 2 wheel conversion? Impressive stock numbers!

Will be hoosiers... but I'm running victoracers while I'm dialing the car in and setting it up so they remain as consistant as possible. Struts... I have to call Koni again but I think its gonna be something custom from them.

It is a little more than 15 at redline but that's insignificant really. Since this is an autox car the shiftpoints will be dictated as much by the course as it will be by the power curve.

With the short gearing on the car going to third a little early doesn't hurt as I doubt there will be a national course that the STi doesn't have to go to 3rd on... I could be wrong.

Man, they must be slow up there if they let Matt get FTD.

For those that do not know, I am kidding. Sweet looking car Matt. Kreimelmeyer would be proud of you man, sporting a Scooby.

Everyone else got out and pushed their cars around the course so I could win!

Yeah... I couldn't let Erik K. have all the AWD fun!!! Especially after he kicked my *** a few times with that RS. Now I can join in on the secret subaru planning sessions since Chris T. labeled me a Honda sellout...
