Re: hatchback spoiler mount
Here are photos of the current PCI wing brackets. I think that a new lower bracket could be made pretty easy to get the setup to work in your class. the brackets are a 2 piece design.
you should talk with Brian at PCI or Kiwi. I wouldn't be surprised if they could make a new lower mount to attach to the glass.

The "L", no. Those are just prebent aluminum stock; available at most hardware stores. It comes as a much longer section....it's been cut into small pieces for this application.

Re: hatchback spoiler mount
^i meant to look at his mounts but didn't remember to. There's limits on the area of the wing as well, I'd build one to those limits or modify somthing like the arp gt wing the PCI kit is designed around. I'm just wondering if there's any ots mounts that meet SMF rules or I'd have to come up with somthing myself.
If the upper mount is the same as the oem wing and the lower points are on the glass, it would allow the hatch to open freely. You might also be able to design a mount which doesn't need lower supports.

Like no brackets going to the glass or the hatch.
Just looks like a APR GT wing sitting on top of the car

Re: hatchback spoiler mount
^^^ Kiwi can you post a pic of your current hatch wing mount I didnt see it on the website.
I dont have the rules but I do drive my car to the track with a set of track wheels/tires in the back that I would need to unload so opening the hatch is a must.
