Default On ebay...RWD converted Integra for cheap.

I'm not affiliated...but check it out.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...sting

Full Type R drivetrain and brakes + RWD conversion. Reserve is at $8945. I have no idea what class you'd be in, but its quite a bargain, even if you just convert it back to FWD.

Personally, I think that's the wrong way to go RWD in an integra...unless you like a trucks weight distribution and traction capability. Mid-engine RWD is the "only" way to go for a RWD integra. Sure it's more work, but it won't ruin the handling capabilty like leaving the engine in the front does. Of course that thing is a Dorifto Kar so normal handling logic is a little skewed/very different.

I was hoping to see a mid-engined integra in this post...

I got a kick out of how you put "for cheap" in the post title

...well, I was gonna' hold off for a while on my rwd 'teg purchase, but I think I'm gonna' pick this one up. I don't know if I'll see a price this stellar any time soon

Why? You could probably part it out for more than the reserve.

The owner is a regular in the ITR forum. All I can say is that this car is built and built very very well. If I had the cash, I'd probably pick it up.

I believe the build has actually been covered in Honda Tuning. So maybe there were some kind of media rights or something?

not that it isn't a great price, the way I read your post it sounded like this one was cheap, unlike all the other rwd 'tegs for sale out there (it's the only one, insert ironic expression on face)

sorry I wasn't able ta' articulate better

That should be enough for you.

He might have fabricated subframe for the crv differential he used, or he cut out a subframe off of a 4wd crv, and welded it on the integra.

Too bad he's dragging he e-brake to make all that smoke so you can't see them better.

The non-longitudinal mounting job confused me until they mentioned the CR-V transmission. I remember seeing a true RWD Integra at Summit about 4 years back - longitudinal B18C engine...it was pretty quick, but not over whelmingly quick.

I guess spelling isn't the forte of the Mustang owners?

My real question is why aren't you banned yet?

RJ is slacking off again.

My fault, it is supercharged none the less its boosted and its not slow.

It's underrated and he took a guess in the ebay ad at what it's producing, so go somewhere with '' its slow '' .

read much?

ebay ad says
Performance - estimates

Acceleration: 0-60
5.19 seconds

Acceleration: 0-100 mph
13.2

Acceleration: Quarter Mile
13.6 sec. @ 103.2 mph

Braking: 60-0
109 feet

103 trap is slow.

13.6 and 103.2 is a little precise for a guesstimate dont you think.
