nope they dont make that brand... a few are....... bc racing, k sport, tein, eibach, h&r, buddy club, function form, koni's and more...
ive wanted a German car but i couldn't deal with the thought of driving a stock car or pay the outrageous prices for parts.

I miss my e36. It's such a versatile and practical car. But tracking monthly and 2 kids, with the likelihood of off road events (it's not if...but when), led me to buy a gutted and caged civic. No regrets and a better padded wallet.

Ill even go as far to say pick up a MR2....Most are taken care of and are dead reliable NA. They used the normal 2.2 engine so it will last and has some low end grunt.
Pretty much setup out of the box just needed minor things like brakes/wheels and tires and maybe a sway bar.
Its made to handle and it does not need a full roll cage.
The tranny is also a normal 5 speed found in the corollas and cammys.

Regarding the insurance, I have two cars now, and when I tagged on my second eg it went up by like no more than 25$ a month compared to when I only had the one.

Good to know, thanks. I am going to be looking at a DA Integra and an EG Hatch shortly, and will go from there.

Re: Is a civic the track rat for me?
So I've been productive with ordering parts for the M3...
VAC Motorsports baffled oil pan
Vorshlag Competition motor mounts
Vorshlag Competition trans mounts
AKG reinforced and powdercoated front subframe from Bear Motorsports
Secured oil pump nut
Reinforced oil pickup tube
And lots more... still deciding about doing another roll bar since I sold mine, so may do a custom weld in or just another off the shelf bolt in since I'm keeping a full interior. Also going to pick up a new helmet and probably a HANS soon. I'm still debating upon creating a build thread for you guys here but I'm not trying to get flamed for having a BMW on here.

UUC Motorworks completely sucks! Their products have poor fitment and they have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. As for a brake cooling kit, I will probably go with Hard Motorsports when I go that route, but at that point I will probably have a Stoptech or PFC bbk.

Re: Is a civic the track rat for me?
My uuc experience was a great solution to a rubbery shifter and a car that popped out of gear on hard acceleration in 2nd gear. I don't think the car needs BBK unless you are upping the motor. Would support the rear better with welded subframe mount supports and rear shock tower mounts

I feel that using a DD and slowly turning it to a track only setup is good, honda or not! You would know when and where to spend your hard earned cash to make it more safe and more competitive.
Would love to see your build here if you do not mind.
M3 is a great starting point as you are almost at a full track car anyway!
Cheers Buddy!
