choosing a rad fluidyne vs mishimoto
I'm looking for a rad right now and I found a couple of brands and big variance in pricing...
What the big difference between a mishimoto at 150$ and a Fluidyne at 360$? I'm wondering if the extra money worth it?
Since I'm doing a lot of lapping with my car, I don't want something I will regret after...
opinions? issue?

First question... did you search the forum about radiators?
Many many many results come up.
FYI I have an integra Mishi in my EG... stays cool, no problems.
Havent heard of anyone complain about them either. Go back and search lots of information on radiators.

I am curious how a half size civic radiator will hold up to a 2.0L Bseries vtec motor....header choice may cause the downgrade from fullsize to half size.

i ran a fluidyne half length racing radiator in my H1 EG civic; powerplant was a K20A2 making 206 whp. ran fine, with no problems (i installed it with custom shrouding, so as to guide all the air thru the front of the car into the radiator). ran the car like that for 3 seasons of racing.
i have since removed the fluidyne, and have a huge Koyo rad in there now (car is now turbo'd, and needed the extra cooling; the temp would creep up after 15 mins on track when after i had the turbo and the fluidyne).
the fluidyne is for sale, if you are interested? i'd take $150 for it.

thats weird, most people i've heard say the mishi cap sucks, atleast mine did. i just put my stock cap on and no problems. i am thoroughly impressed with my mishimoto rad.

the caps they come with most cases are faulty. some guy tested 2 of them all new they held almost no pressure.
so i would have the caps pressure tested to make sure they are ok before using it.
my friend blew a hg and the mish rad he had expanded like a baloon.
dose not hold 16lb like it says on the cap
