Default Brake issue - vacuum induced?

The car is a 91 crx. We swapped over GS-R Calipers, uprights, booster, check valve and MC.
Last weekend was the first I'd driven with a new brake set-up at the track.

First session, I went out on track and noticed a brake smell after a half lap (sebring). But the brakes performed great. A Radical hit the wall and the session was black flagged after two laps. As i was pulling into the pits I noticed the car had some resistance and I could smell the pads. When I put the clutch in the car came to a stop quicker than usual as if the brakes were dragging. In my pit spot I turned off the car and it immediately rolled forward a bit, as if I let off the brakes.

Second session, same thing - brake smell and more resistance as the laps increased(this included wide open throttle and hard braking). During my third lap the course was black flagged b/c of a Mustang going off course. As I pulled into the pits I noticed the car would come to a stop almost immediately as if I pushed the clutch in. As it was idling it wouldn't roll but as soon as I turned it off it rolled forward.

This doesn't happen during normal street driving - only during race/track conditions.

Any ideas? Could this be a faulty or incorrectly installed check valve?

Thanks

double check that check valve is pointed in the correct direction.

I have an adjustable vacuum relief valve incorporated into my hose going to the booster, still have the check valve in place as well.

your brakes are for sure dragging.
1. make sure that check valve isn't backward and is functioning.

2a. make sure that little gasket that goes between the master and booster is still in there.
b. make sure you have adequate free play in your brake pedal. it should have about 1/8" free play between the upper stop (brake light switch) and the engagement point.
