Anyone here using an Accord wagon for HPDEs?

Re: Anyone here using an Accord wagon for HPDEs?
My biggest issue when autox'ing my accord: oil starvation. I'd drop out of VTEC if I didn't run an extra quart or so of VTEC juice. Otherwise, I'd recommend a GOOD shock(Bilstein is my favorite), and play with spring rates to see what works best. Remove front sway bar, stick a big bar out back. Get a limited slip(you'll need it), I'm probably going to go the T2W4 route just because I don't want to take apart a transmission. Brakes, brakes, brakes, brakes, BRAKES. Don't skimp on tires. Power can wait, my car has plenty of power with the F23 in it for what I do, but more doesn't hurt- it'll just be one more thing to fight while you learn the car.

My buddy Diaz had an Accord wagon that was in HOnda Challenge H2 trim when he owned it. It had a H22 swapped in for power, DTC60 Hawk pads up front, Koni Yellows/Ground Control for suspension. It was quick for 2700 lb'ish honda. I don't remember what wheel/tire sizes where on it. Karl runs an Accord in H2 on the east coast btw.

Not sure how I missed this post, but I autocross my '93 Accord wagon. Mine is H22a swapped, 5 speed converted, 5 lug converted, and some suspension goodies. Right now I'm on Ground Control sleeves with KYB struts (Planning on either going Koni Yellow, or just buying BC's soon), Progress rear sway bar, Hawk HP Plus pads, 16x8 and 16x7 RPF1's with 245/45 RE11's on the front, and 225/50 on the back. I love it so far, and she handles her own. I can't wait for a coilover upgrade!
