Any aerodynamic guru out there???
I'm wondering if anyone has access to any CFD (computerized fluid dynamic) software. I'd like to do a simulated wind tunnel analysis on the landspeed car that I designed couple of weeks ago. Here is a 3D model of my first design (I've changed couple things since then, but this will give you an idea).
My company bought a landspeed car couple months ago. Some people have suggested to close off the rear end of the existing car. Therefore, I made some body modifications. And before we go forward with body fabrication, I'd like to do the analysis first. So if anyone has access or know of a place who can perform this type of analysis, please let me know. Thanks very much.

Looks very very simialar to the JCB dieselmax that was featured in racecar engineering within the past few months.
Any aerodynamicist is going to want to get paid for work like that, if you're looking for one PM Johnny Mac this is his area of expertise and frankly he's a damn genius. However good work aint cheap, and cheap work aint good.

If by similar you mean, it has a tail fin and you can't see the wheels, then yeah, maybe so...

Yeah, I read that article about the JCB dieselmax.

contact me off list and I'll put you in contact with an expert in CAD/CFD that works for a defense contractor that manufactures fighter planes.
He is starting a small company to do CFD/fluids (aero) work for race cars.
