Anyways, I though I'd add my own riddle since I had so much fun reading this whole thread:
What's Two stories tall, is Nuclear powered, weighs 75 tons, and has 32 wheels?
Answer: "The Big Bus" (1976)
LOL!!!

It was a 73 or74 Mustang, yellow and fast as hell. In that movie they didn't spare the car like they did in the modern movie, they flat out destroyed the car and the bad guy still got away. They totaled 93 cars in that movie and the chase seen was about 45 minutes long. When they were filming the movie they didn't always have the permission of the DOT so alot of the scenes were filmed in real time with real traffic. They even took out a light pole that the DOT never found out about. It was a more intense car chase than the one in Bullit. </TD></TR></TABLE>
I watched it yesterday for the first time. The movie is crazy. That 45min chase scene is probably one of top 5 all time movie chases

By far my favorite movie car:
http://www.lastinterceptor.com/real.html
"Max's black Pursuit Special (or Interceptor if you will) was modified the most. It started out life as a 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT, a car that is exclusively Australian. Starting out stock, it came with a 351 Cleveland, a 4-speed manual transmission, and a 9" rear end." Sold in Australia from December 1973 until August 1976.
I actually spent quite a bit of time researching building one of these since I am a huge fan of the movies. I stumbled into loads of support sites. Many based here in the US, more in the UK, even more in AU and even more in Japan if you can believe it.
Here's a site that lists tons of support and even how-to's for building any of the movie cars:

</TD></TR></TABLE>
Did we get a form of this car known as the Ford Maverick? I had always thought this was a relative of the watered-down Mavericks that we had here in the US.

Re: All Time Best Movie/TV cars (Todd Reid)
The car in the Wraith by far is the best. That is one of my all time favorites. The car truly is amazing. The car is a Dodge PPG Interceptor M4S (mid-engine, 4 cylinder, sport) built in 1984.It was powered by a DOHC Cosworth 2.2 liter twin turbo with two Garret T-25 turbochargers. It made 440 hp and had a top speed as tested by Road and Track at 194.8 mph. It did 0 to 60 in 4.1 and the 1/4 mile at 12.9 at 104 mph. VERY FAST for 84'. It was supposed to go into production but it was to costly. Man i wish they made that car. I would definately buy one!

Re: All Time Best Movie/TV cars (TurboEM1)
The Daytona in Miami Vice was a kit car (I'm sure you all knew that), the TR was real.
Porsche 993 Turbo 3.6 in Bad Boys 1
Ferrari 355 in Goldeneye (Xenia's car)
Ferrari Daytona---forget the name of the movie. Pretty old, all i remember is that the guy is driving really fast on some desert road and flips it over. (yes, it was a real Daytona)

Actually, IIRC that was an LS5 Chevelle SS. The actor was Matthew "alright alright alright" McConaughey.

ERR semi-WRONG!!!
It actually was a kit car that had a 351 Windsor and had 4 pedals. the 4th pedal was for the rear brakes only.
Popular Mechanics, back in the day.

In addition, a stunt car was created by the Roberts Motor Co. by beefing up a 1972 DeTomaso Pantera chassis with salvaged Testarossa body parts.[12] The mid-engined Pantera replicated the Ferrari much closer than the Corvettes which were used to create the Daytona look-alikes. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Tumbler in Batman Begins. Build from the ground up with a 5.7L Chevy V8. Thing goes 0-60 in 6 seconds and tops out at 106 mph. Most of the stuff in the movie was done in real time, not sped up.

That big *** thing is powered by a 350? Wow, maybe it is lighter than it looks. I'll have to google the specs on it sometime.

Re: (MechE00)
This movie made me interested in cars:
Here's a little video clip:
http://www.we-todd-did-racing....DE%3D
Generally the movie was very silly but entertaining. It was based on Brock Yates' illegal race from New York to L.A. In 1971, Yates and Dan Gurney drove the race in a Sunoco blue Ferrari Daytona and won with a time of 36 hours. Yates wrote a book about the races that's pretty entertaining.

Hell yeah, that thing was bad ***.
The CNN.com article I read on it said 0-60 in 5.3 seconds and it was fully functional.
They built 4 of them for filming.
