Re: (EVIL_EKology)
Yeah, I got some decent footage from Edgar's car, but unfortunately there was no sound because he only had a single cig lighter outlet. In fact, its in a video that I'm currently just waiting for a few other people to send me their highlights before I put it out here. Its primarily a Focus Challenge video, but I gots luv for for you people and your foreign dohickies too...
Oh yeah... We were proud of Todd expressing himself this weekend too.
You go boy! heheheee

Yeah... Todd is one of the more "out there" participants in the focuschallenge if you get my drift...
Just figured I would chime in and say hey. I did not get a chance to go down and talk to you guys but I was out there.
I corded one of my tires and could not run on Sunday tho
Here is a picture of Todd from one of the first get togethers i went to.

I was pretty impressed with how you were driving though </TD></TR></TABLE>
The White CRX with Orange wheels was Mos. I think it was the instructor who was driving his car when you passed him, cause he came in and talked to the flag man, then Mos switched to the drivers seat. I was wondering what you did to get the black flag
Mos was driving quite well, he was able to walk away from my slow *** without too much trouble but that's not saying too much LOL

Re: (Neb)
now i know i have to run in the intermediate group, otherwise the camera shows me no love
big willow is a great track as well - much higher speeds. quite scary to go through t9 at 100mph. and if you do it right, you're going 125mph+ down the front straight. whee!

Re: (ruthless013)
what car were you driving? I might have a pic of it; a lot of my pictures I deemed unworthy of posting online (b/c of blurriness or bad framing, etc etc, but probably salvageable with a little photoshop care)

Re: (nonsense)
ok, i wasn't sure who was driving, but i was pissed because 2 laps went by and they wouldn't let me pass so i ended up passing into the chicane, jeremy ( the instructor) was pretty pissed but so was i, before they showed up i had my 4 best laps ever on that track

So that was you? In the pit, Jeremy was talking about that. And I have to agree with Jeremy. That was a risky move. Next time, you should've just pulled into the hot pit to give you some space. That was what I did after following that damn RX7 for 4 laps.

Re: (vwong)
Nice looking pics for sure guys. I love the blur really gives the feeling of speed.
Big willow was my very first track day this past June? It takes ***** and you feel more like a race driver... turn 8 was on the throttle 115mph brake into turn 9 at about 90-95 down the front straight topping out at about 125 before it got too hot and sucked all our power away
Those of you who feel comfortable I encourage you to bump to intermediate. I spent about 2 redline trackdays in beginner but I jumped to intermediate immediately when I ran with another group. If you dont let yourself get intimidated running with faster people teaches you more.

Re: (nonsense)
This was my first event, it was definately fun, see i skipped running beginner, intermediate, and went straight to advanced. I was actually pretty surprised i only got passed once the whole time i was out there in the focus and that was by a cobra stang. So im pretty happy overall with my day at the track!
