Due to the recent airbag recalls, I've been concerned about the airbags in my 2009 Honda Ridgeline.

To say that Takata has been less than forthcoming about their airbag safety would be an understatement.

In any case, how can I find out what manufacturer made the airbag in my 2009 Honda Ridgeline?

I know that the 2009 is not currently up for any recalls. Only the 2006 Ridgeline has a recall for airbags. BUT, I do not trust Honda at all. I want to find out what company made the airbags in the 2009 model. I don't want to wait until someone has a fatal airbag incident in a 2009 Ridgeline to then figure out that they are dangerous, which seems to be the way things have been going.

Is there some place I can go that lists the manufacturers of the airbag for the 2009 Ridgeline?

I can't feel confident driving with my family in this vehicle until I confirm that these airbags are safe.

Not to my knowledge is there a list... You can call Honda of California and see if they are willing to share the info or have your local Honda dealer uninstall it (takes roughly 15 mins) and check the manufacturer.
