Abs Tcs Brake Lights stay on in my Odyseey
I had my van parked for 2-3 days, when I went to start it up today, my Abs, Tcs, and brake light on the dash wont shut off, it just stays lit up.. I tried everything to try to reset it,, disconnect the battery, disconnected my gauge cluster, pulled out abs fuse, etc.... nothing seems to work... What happened? I didnt even drive the car at all, once I started it up, the lights lit up.. Any chance of it getting struck my lightning and frying something in my van? We did have a pretty crazy storm last night,, help me out fellows.. thanks Oh, btw, its a 2000 odyssey ex

You will need the ABS/TCS code to find the problem. Unfortunately, I think the dealer is the only one that can retrieve the code with the HDS.

If the base brake system has been checked thoroughly first, I would then make sure the wheel speed sensors are all operating properly.

1995 Honda Odyssey - 214,000 miles
The ABS light comes on sometimes. Sometimes the system buzzes and the light comes on, other times the system buzzes and the light stays off. Checking the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) says that it is the accumulator.
I have bled the ABS system and reset the ABS computer. There is no leaking anywhere.
When I research this, I find that this can be a problem with the accumulator or with the whole ABS modulator assembly. I don't want to spend $300 or so on an accumulator, only to find that the whole modulator assembly needs to be replaced (the modulator assy includes the accumulator and costs about $1,000). I can buy a complete used modulator assy for about $100 plus shipping, but all of the used modulators I'm finding have at least 100,000 miles on them already.
Does anyone with experience in this area have any advice for me? Should I replace just the accumulator? Or should I replace the whole modulator assembly with a used part? Am I missing some other simple fix?
With the number of miles on this vehicle, I'm not looking to invest a lot of money into it.
Thanks for any words of wisdom you can provide.
