Icon2 2008 Odyssey Help

We bought our Odyssey new in 2008 and purchased the extended warranty out to 120,000 miles. The car has been awesome for 119,000 miles. Engine light came on at that mileage and code for cylinder 3 misfire was displayed. We took to dealer and explained that car was using between 1-2 quarts of oil between changes and we stated we knew about class action lawsuit. They replaced piston rings in cylinders 1, 3 and 5 at their cost. We have had the car back for about a week when we were several hundred miles out of town when engine light came on and "D" transmission light began blinking. Manual says to have tranny looked at as soon as possible. ( i took video of light blinking and mileage at 119, 863) i turned car off and then on again….engine light stayed on but blinking "D" stopped…..so we headed home the 200 miles. We took car to dealer the following day(mileage was 120, 110) and they read same code I did
(po 0962) low pressure switch malfunction/short circuit. Dealer says fix is to replace pcm/ecm. we coughed up the $788 to have it done. they said pictures don't prove mileage. also said pcm/ecu was only covered to 80,000 miles???
we had the car back exactly one day when it acted the same way it did previously and again blinking "D" and engine light came on. (i read code: po 0962 ). The car is currently at the dealer and being looked at.
I know when I replaced the timing belt at 105, 000 miles i had to remove the ecm/pcm bracket and module to have access to timing belt. I was wondering if they had to do the same thing when they removed the head and replaced the rings? Is there a step buy step set of directions honda techs follow for piston ring replacement and does it include removing the pcm/ecu?
I tried to explain to them that any one of those wires leading up to pcm/ecu could be causing the short or could have been damaged during piston ring removal?
We are at wits end and are looking for some help
