What paint for spark plug cover?
Just a quick question, what kind of paint should I use to paint my spark plug cover? (B series) I am assuming it might have to be a high temp paint but maybe it doesn't get hot enough, I'm not sure. BTW im looking to paint it black.
Thanks

ehh i used kryon bbq/stove paint at walmart its like 5 bucks a can here is a pic, looks oem to me
ya here is basic step i did
strip the oem paint with air craft stripper,
wash it with soap get all those slimy thing off from stripper
i put my cover in oven for 5 minutes 100 degrees make sure it is dry,
spray 3 LIGHT coats, i start with sides and small edge areas
then put it back in oven for 7 more miuntes at 100-150 degrees
open the oven door for 30 seconds get some heat off, leave it in there for few hrs to insure fuly dry before install, i just left my in there over night, lol
and u dont have to oven it but it helps paint to stick better and wont chip off ez
hope this helps
