Powdercoating seems to be the way to go for VC's. Depending on where you go and how normal the color is, it can be fairly cheap. There is this thing called "kolorfusion" that I have been looking at. You can take custom graphics and have them put on almost anything. Might be expensive though, but if you get a unique enough design it may be worth it.

I think it would depend on the colour of your bay to be honest. Pink aint gonna go with a green bay, but with a black one, it would look hawt.
