Default My 400$ TJ Mexico Paint job

Took them 1 week to paint, even painted my beat up GSR blades black, also did the body work

-some over spray, but no orange peel , looks like a 1000-1500 paint job way better then maaco or earl schibe

They didn't mask off **** it looks like, the grille in the bumper is supposed to be black, same with the outer pieces (not sure of correct name) of the bumper.

I had a guy I use to work with that would flip old muscle cars on the side. He would take em down there and get it sprayed, full tuck and roll intirrior, everything for like $1500. Said he never had a problem, then again I always got robbed by the cops in TJ.... It's not a nice place for whitey.

Its a two stage 2 base and 1 clear... Btw about the shop I just didn't go around Mexico looking for a shop this shop has had good reviews from American clients, But if they were to try something fishy with the car i have full coverage and would just report the car stolen

Tijuana has some good painters. My father a hot rod builder in 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s... when we lived in San Diego took some well spent muscle cars down there to get painted... Have to have the right shops but quite a few, several thousand dollar paint jobs done right for around $1000 or so...

Agree, You don't always have to spend a fortune to get a good job or product but just have to know how to look/negotiate...
