my apologies, but i guess being such a noob to painting, wtf is orange peel? </TD></TR></TABLE> It's paint texture that appears similar to an orange. Kinda of bumpy but still smooth. Like the reflection of the light above your headlights

lol... i didnt even know anyone was still in this thread.

thanks for all your comments...

however, it's sad to say i'm thinking of selling it. i've fallen in love with the s2k again. any buyers/traders?

the rims are 18x8 tork champion. i needed a minimum 18" wheel for the 13" brakes. at least that's what ssbc said and it sure looks damn close to the caliper. 17s = no no.

hondaguy, simple rubbing compound and a good buffer. the same guy who painted my car hooked me up.

it's a precision 750hp intercooler. can't remember the dimension. they go pretty cheap too, around 400 bucks or so.

someone referred to me by a good friend. he rents a paint booth so he's very inexpensive. for $1,000 he painted the entire car, did all the body work, painted the entire oem lip kit, installed it, and buffed the car after. i don't have a single complaint. oh yeah, he did it over a weekend too.

its actually a 95 with 01 everything. nonetheless, the 94-01 tegs (DC2s) are definitely my favorite as well.

that's what most people say, however, i dig the 1998 style from back then plus the 13" rotors require a min. 18" wheel. as far as the drop, i really can't go any lower without jeopardizing the quality of my DP as the clearence isn't much (even though i've thought about tucking the 18s all around despite what happens to the DP!)
