Hood alignment help
Sp i've been trying to align my hood on my del sol and I can't win...epic fail! Is there anyone who could shoot me some hints? I always end up hitting the corners of my fenders closest to the hood hinges while trying not to have a crazy gap between the hood and fender. Any help would be great!

Re: Hood alignment help
without bolting the hood down, set it in place so you get even gaps all around. measure this gap and make some shims to place all around to hold it in place. then put in one bolt somewhat tight that it holds but with some force will allow movement and rotation. once you get it where you think is perfect, add the remaining bolts, but not completely torqued down yet. chances are its still gonna be off by a little. lower the hood and let the shims move it into place and then tighten it all down and check again for the gap, still using the shims. its gonna be a lot of trial and error but not a bad excuse for a few afternoon beers on a saturday
