I don't know........I think my opinion of a "custom paint job" seems different than alot of what has been posted. Re-painting the car a new color dosent seem to fit the build.
Don't get me wrong, some of them are sweet, like that CRX above this post, but others just seem bland and not exactly custom
Here is a link to my old car........YES ITS A SATURN, try to keep the hating to a minimum but this is a cutom PAINT thread.....

Granted your saturn is def custom, and I agree that a repaint in a standard 2 stage isnt exactly custom....But you also have the custom mixed paints, pearls, flakes, etc...
Theres a wide variety....then theres the 3 stage paints like kandys...
Grated I paid around 2 grand just HOK materials, but its very much worth it in the end.

and a ton of clear was used on the hood to get rid of the paint step

I dont care if you painted 2 cars it still wouldnt cost $2000 unless your paint supplier went laughing to the bank after you came in lol

This is just Spies Hecker black base and clear with no wet sanding or polishing. Pulled and rolled fenders, shaved rear lock hole and emblem holes front and rear.
any body know where the writeup for this car is or any info on it?

This isn't my car, but I'm going crazy finding out what the heck the color is. It's a kandy color but WHAAAT? Hope you guys can help me out. Or S**T i'm going to have to fly my *** all the way from Guam to Florida & look for SIK Creations since they supposedly did the STELLAR paint job. FREAKIN SEXY..it was love at first sight.
