i have 3 coats on the ek now. i bought a gun insted of rolling it. and used way 2 much thiner. went 50/50/ i was running very easy. so ima add more custom urban graan mix 2morow and finist it. but the color looks sick im xcited.

ok well day 1 over.
prep
the paint and the gun i bought.
and now after 3 coats
ill get more pics 2morow. i gota wet sand and get the runs out. i went 50/50 mix and its way 2 thinned out. but will keep every1 updated

for some reason i get those lil dust particles as well..even when i mineral spirits and whip clean..results looking clean though bro

yeah i wiped the entire car down w mineral spirits b4 hand. but i painted front bumper and fenders outside. and my luck the started 2 sprinkle on me. hurry up wipe down and bring in the garage. but i will have wet sand pics and 3 more coats 2morow i hope.

day 2. after 6 coats and wet sanding after ever other coat. looks good. just gota clean up and reassemble the car
ill put the coupe back 2gather 2morow and take some outside pics. mayb do a lil photo shoot. let me know how ya all like it

its not orange peel. its either not thin enough to shoot out and sputters or its over spray debris.

91lsteg: that texture you have on your car is the same texture i have on my brothers EG roof.
check this out. i started to sand and buff a portion of his roof out. and if it turned out nice, i'd do the whole thing.
here you can see how the texture is.
i wet sanded down with 1500g
2000g here
then i hand polished with no7 rubbing compound (green/white container)

dont apply to much pressure when sanding, it can take off the paint. take your time with it.

How do you mix the ratio paint? I have no idea on how to do this... Can anyone help me? I'm soon about to paint my car Almond with this method, I have the everything, I just need help on how to mix the paint with the mineral deposits. Thanks!
