Thanks and welcome to the build thread!

The motor was finished last night! I just need to pick up a new lower oil pan (think I’ve got one in the garage) and I need to finish painting the valve covers… hoping to drop the motor this week! I’ve got two weeks before I head back to Pakistan, got to kick this build into overdrive!

Looks like an expensive build

I plan on doing my build on the M after I get back from overseas. I'm looking forward to seeing how much power you'll be able to put out. My goals to beat a GTR as well Those things are f'in fast.

Thanks!

No number yet since the motor hardly has any miles on it right now, so it’ll be a few more weeks before it actually sees the dyno.

I’ve also got a few things to finish up in the meantime…

Needs a new throttle body, need to install the RJM clutch pedal, and the new fuel system (CJM Stage 1 return fuel system, Deatschwerks 1000cc injectors, etc….)

I’m hoping it’ll do 530whp on pump gas (AZ 91) and 600whp on E85… We’ll see though…

Based off of my experience, I'd highly recommend you look at an IS-F first...

Lots of cars for sale in my area, but majority of them are newer so they are way out of my price range. Cars in the $50K-$60K range get sold really quickly.

Found a '09 w/25K miles in Tennessee but the owner had a buyer literally the same day he put it up for sale. Price was so good that I would of sent it straight to Chris-HPF.

Arizona actually has a pretty good GTR inventory.

My brother’s friend (dealer) just picked up a black 2009 GT-R with 50k miles on it, listed it for $57k… I’m sure we could talk him down a bit… miles are kind of high though.

Let me know if you want me to check any out here.

$57K is a bit high for a 09/50K mile car. But it's not hard to believe as I've yet to see a GTR fall under $50K. Rguy probably knows a lot about prices as he just got his car.

Ideally I'm looking for a '10+ with less then 25K miles.

Did you end up keeping the G Sedan?

Yeah, I’d pay $50k for it if everything checked out… still, not having all the history on a GT-R would probably scare me out of buying it.

Nope, it’s long gone… starting graduate school this summer (Arizona State, evening MIS program) so I’m going to wait till next summer to pickup another car (probably going to be an Evo though).
