Not all of them… but I think the Z/G 6MT is their own, not 100% sure though…

Re: Single Turbo G35 Coupe Build (Brilliant Silver content inside)
So, I have an appointment for tuning at ProEFI in Scottsdale this upcoming Tuesday… right now I’m waiting on a spring for the shifter to come in, Coulter Infiniti’s going to overnight it to me… but aside from that we’re just going to make sure the car’s ready for the dyno and I should be able to drive it tomorrow as long as everything checks out.
I also have to thoroughly clean the engine bay now, I need to get all that powder coated piping and polished metal looking new!
So many small bolts and clips were lost too…

The tuning session actually went great… I’ve got three boost settings to play with now:
i-Boost setting 1: 7 psi, 371 whp & 350 torque
i-Boost setting 2: 9 psi, 415 whp & 395 torque
i-Boost setting 3: 14 psi, 466 whp & 466 torque
I’ll have a more detailed update posted later tonight… almost time to open my fast now!

^^^Nice. Thats pretty good for a 35R . Was the last run tuned for 91? I was hoping you would break 500whp with your setup. I would kill for midrange like that .

Re: Single Turbo G35 Coupe Build (Brilliant Silver content inside)
I need to upgrade my fuel system; I’m still running the factory returnless fuel system right now… I think the car needs at least a basic/stage 0 return fuel system. Also, I’m running 0.82 exhaust housing on the car, which limited the car a little while on pump gas… lastly, after the 3-inch downpipe the exhaust is a little restricted for a built turbo application (HKS dual exhaust)… Oh, I’m also running a stage 1 Exedy clutch… I’m not sure if it’ll hold the 466whp & 466 torques, and I’m not going to buy a new clutch right now, lol
Regardless… the car pulls pretty hard, lol

God damn that thing is a sleeper, good job man
Since its built... do you think you will upgrade to a beastlier turbo down the line... or is 460whp "enough"

Re: Single Turbo G35 Coupe Build (Brilliant Silver content inside)
I’m really happy with the 466whp & 466 torque, but I will upgrade the exhaust housing of the GT35R to the 1.06 hot side… with an exhaust housing swap the car should be able to make 500+ whp on pump gas and then I’ll look into switching to E85, then the car should be good for just over 600whp. Jason at ProEFI tuned a 350Z with the same PowerLab GT35R kit, only difference was the larger exhaust housing (and fuel system/E85 for the 500/600whp tunes).
But I’m not really thinking about that right now , just going to enjoy the power level I’m at for now, lol…
Thanks man! I'm just glad the build is finally over.

I probably won't make it out to a drag strip till either the end of this year or beginning of next… but I'm thinking about using an electronic device like an R35 GT-R to measure 40-120 mph acceleration…

No videos or pictures of the new CAN display yet… I’ll have those up this weekend though!
We’ve still got a few small issues to deal with right now; I’m hoping we can have everything fixed by this Friday so I can get some more time behind the wheel and throw some videos together too.

Dammit I really want a G now. Sigh, I'll probably be listing my GTO for sale this weekend and going to look at leases. Infiniti of Mission Viejo is offering G37 Journeys for $250/mo with $4k down and 10k per year. I only put about 8k per year on my cars, and that's a lower payment than my GTO.
Must do maths later.

If you’re looking at Sedan’s too, I’ve seen 2009 G37’s going for $20k with about 20k miles on them… I think the coupe’s are going to run a little more though. This is all from Private seller’s too.
I’ve never looked into leasing so I’m not sure what’s a good deal and all… but the G37’s a great car! GL with your search! Keep me posted!
