Been awhile since I've posted in this thread, found some old pictures of my IS300. Ofcourse the eyelids went see ya and the grill got painted even though it was CF.

New wheels ... for me, at least =P My friend gave me his old mustang gt wheels (18x8), so I stretched a 215/35/18 up front and put a 225/40/18 out back, but I'm thinking the 225's will go up front and I'll shove a 245 out back. I'll lower the car more so I can almost tuck rim out back and a touch of tire up front after I get the rear suspension sorted (Fig's rear control arms and maybe his trac links) and front with RCA's (also from Figs) to help with the funky handling when the car is lowered.

Yeah its not as clean as I'd like to have it right now but now isn't the time to be throwing my money at it (I traded my 00 TypeR for it, its an 03 Manual)
my buddy and I decided to checker flag the front, Its vinyl white squares
its kind of love it or hate it when I have the car nice and clean it really looks good but I had been in Tampa that week for work
also if anyone has spare headlights for sale lmk

love it or hate it I just got the bitch and have been wanting one for some time and now that I have it unfortunately parts in my area seem to be non existent and the ones I do find are just weak for the price, trying to find a TRD front lip but no luck all the parts I find are bootleg ebay junk

The TRD lip only fits the JDM bumper and the guy who used to make TRD lips to fit the USDM bumer doesn't anymore, so good luck with that.

That "checkered" front bumper looks like ****. I'm not going to lie. WTF, would you do that? To the other guy with the mustang rims...that looks like **** too. The OEM wheels look way better. Damn..you guys take a good looking car that came from factory and turn it into some lame ****. If you don't got the money to mod, then save to buy mods and leave that **** stock. Mad proud to post pics too.

You are right but when you post on a public forum, you have to be open to positive and negative comments. I'd rather have a turbo honda that put some POS checkered **** on my bumper.

^^ I totally understand. Family IS first.. but mod the car accordingly, that's my whole point. Instead of putting mustang wheels, checkered bumpers etc...it takes away from a nice car.

For the haters =P 16" Rota Slips with 225/50/16 Michelin X-Ice tires. I got tired of the Mustang wheels and how heavy they were, so I got another set of 16's that were painted pink, and mounted the snow tires on those. I painted them hammered black tonight and threw them on with 5mm spacers up front. Just need to get the rear extended studs in and I'll put on spacers in the back.
