Has anyone ever done an awd conversion to an odyssey (ra1)??

Might be easier to just import the AWD version from Japan.

True but wouldnt that be a ton of money? ive never actually looked into it but i hear its costs alot to get a car imported here from japan, although jhot imports is in denton not too far away from me maybe i can get it imported from there. All this is me just thinkin crazy ideas, but an awd 5speed turbo odyssey would be pretty freakin sweet

Thinkin crazy is the reason we're driving souped up mini-vans, dude. Nothing wrong with that. I like the idea. The JDM AWD version most likely only comes in auto, like the others, but with a little ingenuity it can be done. An H/F-to-B adapter plate from Bisimoto Racing would allow you to attach a CRV AWD 5-speed manual to the engine. The rear and passenger-side trans mounts would have to be modified or fabricated, along with a custom drive-shaft, a CRV rear pumpkin and modified rear axles. I would love to do this, but I think it's a little out of my budget.

Hmmm. . .sounds like I need to start saving my money. I'll try to do some research on all this but thanks for the info atleast now I kno it sounds possible haha. O btw I blacked out the headlights on my ody kind of did a diy jdm headlight mod they came out pretty nice now I jus gotta find someone who makes amber corners

I like that headlight idea. Lets see some pictures when you're done.
