2006 Pilot A/C Making Crazy Noises
Haven't posted on H-T in a couple years and this crazy AC issue is the only reason I'm back lol
Anyway, here's my issue(s):
When the AC is on at all, braking and sharp turns produce a fairly loud (can be heard over the radio even when the radio is cranked) screeching noise. Best way I can describe it is if your girl took her fingernails and ran them down the hood of the car. Metal on metal maybe too. Its not pleasant. This happens even under light braking (normal). I am positive it is AC related because while its doing it, if you turn it off it immediately winds down and stops. It sounds like it is coming from the back vents on the floor (in front of the second row seating). Doesn't matter what setting its on (floor, windshield etc).
The second issue is that when the AC is on and turned up to more than the one bar (base setting) you hear an audible running-water noise. Not nearly as loud as the screeching, but it sounds like someone turned on a faucet in the dashboard. Turn the AC down to the lowest setting and it goes away. Anything above the lowest tho and you're anticipating a bath
Any guesses? AC works perfectly and blows ice cold. Its been making these noises for 6-8 weeks or so. Help me out!!

My a/c makes little rattling noises as well, I have been told it has to do with something about the heater support. idk, I just turn the music louder these days to avoid hearing the noise.
