Eastco, Good work fair price.
Ive also used the machine shop, litterally next door to 360 Imports, 1 good block done, 1 block had a hair line crack that they didnt notice and blew after 1k miles, go at your own risk.

Re: NW Machine Shops
DG left me underwhelmed last time actually. Im sad to say it, but I wont be going back, and Ive been going there for a while.
IF DALE himself is puttin in work, theres no one better... But, after the last time my junk was in there, Im interested in what some of the guys in the back are smoking.
Auburn auto machine for block work, and Heads up for head work for me.

Re: NW Machine Shops
Two places I recommend:
-M&B cly heads, they do heads and blocks
-Aluminum head rebuilders, just heads
Eastco has been around for a long time, I used them for many years and don't use them anymore, there were several times when things did not turn out the way I liked!!

Re: NW Machine Shops
We use Lyons technical machine for all of our build besides just normal head work. (we use aluminum head rebuilders for that). They do amazing work and have built everything from our street engines to 1350whp supra engines.

Brian@M&B Cylinder Heads. Nice equipment, and great guy to deal with.
He is located in the PDX area, just as you drive over the Columbia River entering Portland on the I-5 side.

Re: NW Machine Shops
My friends and I have always used Heads up in Auburn. Really nice work at a decent price. Great turn around time as well. My last head was done at DG, no complaints so far.
