if youre moving to the kitsap area its pretty nice, weather is decent besides winter (doesnt snow much but theres ice), roads are nice, hardly any traffic problems once you get used to how the roads work and everything you need is pretty much close by. I live about 30 minutes from kitsap and i commute there often. Bangor is like 5 minutes from silverdale and thats the hot spot for all your needs. Bremerton is tad bit more shady but the economy around that area seems to be doing better than it has been.

in kitsap most kids 18-21 are on either oxy or H now and they ALL know that stealing and even just breaking into honda's is easy. i would get a truck for daily status my buddy will sell you his if you want one for like 500 he just got all wasted and ran into three cars and then got pulled over on the freeway before the cop ripped him out and beat his *** down like the little drunk punk he is. so its a lil beat up but a good cheap truck. you will find that most of us Tacoma/KP homies are legit and shoot thieves, fish, hunt, surf, skate, and snowboard, and do manly stuff its the most beautiful place in the world.. the sound on one side, the olympics on the other, the cascade range its super legit and it just so happens we build the gnarliest cars. oh ps if you are smart you will move where they do not have emissions.
i suggest you move to Gig Harbor.
and im down in San Diego already.

it really isn't too bad. if you don't have an alarm, get one. One that has a 2 way pager so if it does go off it pages the clicker so you know. than have 1 hidden kill switch, so the starter is disconnected unless the switch is on. Also a clutch lock will help. these 2 will help to protect your car against 98% of theives. the other 2% is the very small amount of theives who use tow trucks, which if you get a very sensitive alarm, will help with that aswell.
does anyone know, is there an alarm that is connected to the wheels, so if the wheels move like a complete rotation without the alarm being turned off it'll set off the alarm? cause that would be awesome, so it'll take care of that other 2% of theives that use tow trucks.

Re: moving to washington....=\
I currently own a CL9. I have a crazy *** custom alarm with literally everything and the club for the steering wheel/ and clutch lock... I kno its not much; but I think it's been good to me ... "knock on wood"
If someone really wanted to take your car they will; but usually with those things; most thieves will sway away from it as it will take some time....

Not sure what kind of car you got but Seattle is a hot spot for thieves!
I am not putting Seattle in the hot seat; but I have buddys there.
You can do whatever you want to protect your car from theft; but if ppl want it; they'll get it (in general).... If you have an alarm; it gives you somewhat piece of mind...
Just make sure you are smart and keep an eye on your ****. As far as the ppl; just depends on where you go in the area.
Any of the seattle folks agree?
