EFfing theft attempt in Daly City last night!
If you're in the Daly City area beware. I came home probably around 2am, and woke up around 10am this morning to this:
Cracked moon roof, damaged rear valence(I think that's what its called) and missing window visors. At least this all the damage I can see. They didn't try to pry doors or pop my hood(I guess car is too low to reach hood latch?). The car is very well secured. I guess the car's layers kept the thieves out of the car, but now I got a broken moonroof and trunk. Gotta call progressive and make a [freak]ing report later on.
Please keep an eye out for DC2 visors missing clips. My pass side visor has a stain on it that won't come off.

if the car is clean title, dont report it..i hate hen **** like this happens and sorry for the dmgs..****** thieves are getting reallllllly out of control..

So if I file a claim, the car will become salvage? Last time my civic got stolen, It didn't lose its clean title albeit only my seats and speakers were taken and windows were fine.

this just my opinion...Just get an estimate at the most expensive place u know, (usually the acura dealership) and if its alot of money claim it on insurance, then tell them u wanna cash out and fix it later and keep the money, if its not that expensive just fix it yourself..you can take that money buy upgraded parts or a diffrent paint job and get it fix at a cheaper place or a shop u want to bring it too..

Your door looks kinda like what they did to my door.Stole my radio and jacked up my door.This happened near daly city bart.Luckily it was just my daily,but it was still upsets me as to what people are doing these days.
