Classic, Domestic vs Import Meet- Livermore July 9th, 2011
Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that we are going to host the first annual Classic, Domestic vs Import JDM meet in Livermore on July 9th, we've had these meets for 4 yrs and usually have the classics, modern domestics and exotics, but this year we want to also include the JDM imports. Save the date, tonight we'll be having our preliminary meeting and planning stages.
Please subscribe and you'll be notified of any updates.
Conveniently located next to Costco for gas and any other needs some of you may want like extra food or snacks etc.
Location: Cornerstone Fellowship in Livermore
348 N Canyon Pky, Livermore, CA
Things to look forward too that we always have:
1) Chili cookoff (taste and voting), if you have what it takes sign up and we'll give you a spot to set up.
2) We've served a complete BBQ meal. One that is always a hit with the people.
3) Live music and raffles.
4) Bouncy structure for the kiddies.
We usually have about 200 Classics/Domestics and want to have the JDM community come to represent and help show our pride and joy. I'll keep updating this thread as the planning stages are implemented.
Simple request as what we've requested from the last EF vs. DA meet..
No Alcohol
No Burnout's
No Revving
No Racing
No Drama of any kind
All makes of mild to wild Honda's EG, EK, EP, FD, and DC's are all welcome to come out Drifters, Auto-X'rs, Scion, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Subaru and any I can't think of off the top of my head any question's just PM me for anything. Hope you all come out and let's show the Domestic/Classics what we are made of Nor-Cal; So-Cal are also welcome.

Pass along or repost the thread events onto other sites to get exposure, as of the meeting tonight we have the capacity to accomodate about 500 cars, we'll get the parking and entry logistics for the slammed cars with a topographical map of our campus lot. Which is pretty huge! If any are going to hit the Wekfest tours coming up in 06-05-11 in SoCal or any other local meets please pass it along. Thanks
Just got a lot of good news that we'll be unveiling in a few weeks, so stay tuned and we'll be creating a site for pre-registration which is FREE, it's just for us to track the number of cars, crews and gauge the capacity to accommodate every attendee. In lieu of the progress, I guess we'll get a count going. Just COPY and PASTE the list and ADD your name(s) & ride in your NEW post:

Okay, I'll post some pics from the last two years that I've attended and this year I'm one of the contributing coordinators. At least everyone can see the competition, one of our contacts are looking into displaying a professional IHRA Drag car. More to come.. I'll start on the pics tonight. Thanks for the feedback.. keep 'em' coming.

This was 2010's show, got a lot bigger, missed some cars coz I worked the registration & T-shirt stations. It was successful, now it's time to us imports to get some recognition.

Do you need a coverage photographer? If I can make it, I can certainly get all of the cars that show up there no problem. As the date comes closer, I can let you know if for sure I can make it. If you want to see my work, check out my Flickr and private message me your contact info (E-mail and/or number) so we can talk more! Thanks, and I look forward to attending this meet. It looks exciting!

Interested in attending. My car is too stock to represent a JDM catagory, but I'll try to show as a spectator. As long as that isn't the weekend of the Rolex Sports Car Series at Laguna Seca I should be there.
