for hid sin. i bought a kit a year ago. one of the bulbs blew and they tried to charge me to do warranty work. terrible customer service. they just want your money and dont honor their warranty. whats a warranty if u have to pay for a blown bulb. here is part of a copy of the email they sent me reguarding warranty work.

ok if you think it's the bulb then we will send
you
out a new one. You may
keep the bulb and you do not have to sent us back
the defected item. There
is a $40 charge for replacement. This will save
you
from having to have to
ship back the defected part and wait 2 weeks for
test and replacement.
Instead we just send you out a replacement within
2-4 days delivery time.

You can paypal us at sales@hid-sin.com and in the
paypal note section let us
know what bulb application you want and color.
Don't
forget the name brand
of the kit as well.

well im sorry then i guess i will no longer being
doing business with you. why would i need to pay for a
defect in worksmanship where its not my fault. at the
time of when i bought my system i was given the
impression that if anytime within one year if anything
happens to the system that you will be replacing it
minus if it was abused in any way. i guess i will be
buying 2 new kits soon from someone else because i
need to replace your defective kit and one for my
fogs. thank you very much.

thats not our policy anymore. if a product is defected send it back to use for testing and replacement. doesnt get any easier than that.

i can careless about a free kit. you guys screwed me over and didnt care for my buisness after you took my money. i would rather warn my fellow ht members about your company. still to this day i dont hear a im sorry but rather a fake bribe of a free kit with arrogence trying to look like you care. i said fake for this reason you could have pmed me after my first post saying how can we resolve this. instead you come back with a oh we changed our policy and failed to ask btw is your part still under warranty if not well take care of it. yet again you had a chance but instead oh since u made us look bad we were gonna give u a kit not anymore. you really look like you care.

Pharaoh,
Can you sell replacement bulbs? I need 2 for a McCulloch PnP kit...the ones that came with the kit blew out =\

whats the difference between genesis and mcculloch's bulb? do they both use glare shields? are you having a promotion for replacement bulbs anytime soon?

That email said it all dude, that's a sign of a bad business. You made the purchase prior their policy subjected to change without notice, on the logical side, they STILL have to honor the warranty, as if less than 1 year warranty period.

BTW, I am using the McCulloch HID kit also, I have pair of 3000K 9006 bulbs and 5000K 9006 bulbs. They work great though.

I am going to run one side 5000K and 3000K the other side, just to **** people off that's all. LOL

So yeah, this should be your experience, don't ever deal with them again. Unfortunately, there will be people buying from them.
